It's not just
who to call.
It's what saves your life.

Emergency contacts. Medicines. Allergies. Doctors. Your phone can hold it all — the Check1st sticker tells first responders where to look.

What Should Your Phone Hold?

In an emergency, first responders need two things: who to call, and what could save your life.

Contacts

The people who need to know — and who can make decisions if you can't.

  • Spouse or partner
  • Family members
  • Close friends

Medicines

Critical prescriptions that affect treatment decisions.

  • Blood thinners
  • Insulin
  • Heart medications

Allergies

Reactions that could be life-threatening if unknown.

  • Drug allergies
  • Food allergies
  • Latex sensitivity

Doctors

Physicians who know your full medical history.

  • Primary care
  • Specialists
  • Preferred hospital

📱 Your phone's Medical ID holds all this — accessible even when locked. The sticker tells responders to check it first.

Set Up Your Phone

It takes 5 minutes. It could save your life.

Open the Health App

Find the Health app on your iPhone.

Tap Your Profile Picture

In the top right corner, tap your profile picture or initials.

Select "Medical ID"

Tap Medical ID, then tap "Edit" in the top right corner.

Add Your Information

Fill in your emergency contacts, medicines (under "Medical Notes"), allergies, doctors, and conditions.

Enable "Show When Locked"

Toggle this ON so responders can access your info without your passcode.

Apply the Check1st Visual Alert Optional

Place a Check1st sticker on the back of your phone or case. This visual alert helps first responders know to check your Medical ID.

💡 Pro Tip: Also enable "Share During Emergency Call" to automatically share your Medical ID when you call 911.

Open Settings

Go to your phone's Settings app.

Find "Safety & Emergency"

Search for "emergency" or navigate to Safety & Emergency (may be under "About Phone" on some devices).

Tap "Medical Information"

Select Medical Information to add your health details.

Add Your Information

Enter your emergency contacts, medicines, allergies, doctors, blood type, and medical conditions.

Add Emergency Contacts
